Solar water heating, also known as solar thermal, is about using the sun’s energy to produce domestic hot water that we use for showers, baths and hot taps.

Producing hot water for use in showers, baths and hot taps accounts for a significant proportion of the overall domestic energy consumption. Under UK conditions, a household can easily produce around half the hot water it needs over the course of a year from solar energy.

Customer feedback suggests that you will save around 25% off your overall heating bill.

The government’s RHI (Renewable Heat Incentive) is worth up to £2000 towards the cost of installation over seven years of payments.

We offer a two-year insurance backed workmanship warranty on our installations.

Evacuated Tubes

Evacuated tubes offer the most efficient way to convert light into heat energy. An array of tubes (usually 20 or 30 tubes) absorb any ambient light and transfer the light energy (in the form of heat) to a fluid which flows across the top of the tubes. The fluid then carries this heat to the water cylinder to provide hot water for your home.

Flat Plates

Flat Plates are a stylish and efficient way to heat water and can be installed on most houses. They are also a popular choice on extensions and new-builds as they can be tile integrated and installed flush with the roof tiles to provide a sleek, low-profile finish.

We are accredited installers for Kingspan and Thermomax brands, but we install equipment from a range of other manufacturers too.
