The Renewable Energy Consumer Code aims to ensure a high standard of consumer experience for customers looking to install small-scale renewable energy systems.

The MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) assures the standards applied to products, installers and manufacturers for renewable energy systems. Achieving certification to this standard allows our customers to receive the FIT (Feed In Tariff) and RHI (Renewable Heat Incentive) payments to help offset the initial capital cost of installing Solar Thermal, Solar PV and Heat Pumps.

Qualitymark Protection (formally GDGC) membership provides a independent deposit and workmanship warranty guarantee for all our renewable energy installations. It protects your deposit and provides cover for workmanship defects in the unlikely event that we become insolvent during your two year warranty cover.

Refcom is a body that registers Fgas qualified companies. Fgas is a legal qualification requirement in order to allow work with refrigeration gases used in heat pumps and air conditioning systems.

The NICEIC have approved Sussex Solar for electrical installations within domestic properties and enable us to notify Building Control under the Competent Persons scheme.
