The MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) applies minimum industry standards and requirements to products, installers and manufacturers in our indy systems. Achieving certification to this standard gives our customers access to electricity export tariffs and government BUS grants.


Qualitymark Protection provides our deposit protection and workmanship warranty schemes for our customers. They are independent and exist to protect your deposit and cover workmanship defects in the unlikely event we become insolvent during your two year warranty cover.


Refcom is a body that registers F-gas qualified companies. F-gas qualification is a legal requirement for work with refrigeration gases used in heat pumps and air conditioning systems.


The Renewable Energy Consumer Code aims to ensure a high standard of consumer experience for customers looking to install small-scale renewable energy systems.

The NICEIC have approved Sussex Solar for electrical installations within domestic properties. This accreditation enables us to notify Building Control under the Competent Persons scheme.

We have been certified Powerwall Installers since 2017 when Tesla launched their Powerwall 2. Tesla has awarded us with several awards for our commitment to installation excellence.


We are approved installers of Vaillant’s Arotherm heat pumps which are
manufactured in Belper, Derbyshire, UK. Our status as an approved installer means our customers get a 7 year warranty on our Vaillant heat pump installs.


We have been accredited Mitsubishi installers since 2015. As we are an accredited installer, our heat pump customers can access a 3 year warranty instead of the standard 1 year warranty normally available.
